Background
Mr. Preziosi, a member of CSF’s Construction Management Team, specializes in completion of projects involving the various New York City agencies. Mr. Preziosi has completed projects, on behalf of Sureties, involving the New York City Transit Authority, the New York City School Construction Authority, the New York City Department of Design and Construction, the New York City Health and Hospitals’ Corporation, the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, the City University of New York and the United States Veteran’s Affairs Agency.
Recent Project Experience
- Acted as Construction Manager on a City University of New York college renovation project. Services included: negotiation of completion contract; monitoring of completion work; ratification of existing subcontracts and purchase orders; procurement of materials; mediation of disputes amongst Principal, Obligee, subcontractors and vendors; preparation and processing of requisitions; and coordination completion of punch list work.
- Acted as Construction Manager for Surety on a $12.5 million, New York City Transit Authority, electrical upgrade project. Services included: development of cost-to-complete estimates; development of completion alternatives; estimation and negotiation of “Additional Work Orders” with the New York City Transit Authority; development of a comprehensive project schedule; and monitoring of completion work.
- Acted as Construction Manager for Surety on a $20 million, New York City School Construction Authority project. Services included facilitation of “fast-track,” design-build program; coordination of defaulted Principal’s subcontractors and suppliers; mediation and resolution of numerous contractual disputes amongst Obligee, Architect, General Contractor, subcontractors and suppliers; monitoring of construction; and processing of requisitions.
- Acted as Construction Manager on behalf of Surety for renovation of the HVAC system at a U.S. veteran’s hospital in New York City. Services included: coordination of installation of a complex air-handling system for an isolation tuberculosis ward; monitoring of completion contractor; scheduling; representation at progress meetings; and requisitioning.
