Background
Mr. Henik has more than 25 years experience as a consultant for Sureties with positions within the United States and the Caribbean. Mr. Henik has worked on a variety of projects including Hospitals, Schools, Power Plants, and Sewage Treatment Plants. Additionally, Mr. Henik has particular experience as MEP manager for steam and boiler room piping systems at oil, gas, and nuclear-fired power plants.
Experience
Cashin Spinelli and Ferretti, LLC, Bohemia, New York
Project manager for completion of multiple, underground sewer installations for defaulted contractors. Work included meetings with Owner/Obligee, Principal, Subcontractor, and Suppliers. Coordinated existing subcontractors and procured additional vendors as required. Supervised completions effort and negotiated Payment Bond claims.
Surety and Construction Services, Bala Cynwyd, PA
Provided schedules and Critical Path analysis and identification of targeted items. Established positive attitudes with owners, designers and clients on troubled construction projects. Completed numerous projects including floating marinas, schools and sewage treatment plants.
Boyken International, St. Kitts
Developed and introduced site-wide safety programs. Established more efficient methods for testing and acceptance of buildings’ systems. Identified and resolved a mold generation problem traceable to high humidity. Resolved site drainage problems and coordinated all site drawings to correct flooding from the Upper Rain Forest during hurricane season.

Provided schedules, performed Bid estimates and maintained Critical Path analyses. Met with owners, designers and clients as representative of the firm. Provided tracking services and identification of long lead items, manpower and deliveries.

Managed several hospital projects as a PM. Responsible for site performance including infection control, change orders, services to client, revenue and expenses.

Developed and introduced company procedures for successful contract claim. Performed all MEP estimates and supervised work.
Feldman Developers, Lake Success, New York
Worked with Spanish stone quarries for international shipment to sites. Resolved trade problems with electricians and glaziers. Procured a temporary CO independently to meet tenant move-in dates.
Chasanoff Properties, Jericho, New York
Developed and installed a free cooling system to reduce operating costs of HVAC. Developed, wrote and executed all maintenance manuals for the site.

Responsible for compliance with all protocols both classified and open. Prepared claims against the FDA and Engineers due to faulty design.

Installed 12-foot diameter, underwater diffuser piping in Long Island Sound. Assigned to instruct welders. Assigned to Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant for resolving pipe hanger traceability problem.
